Interesting premise. A country western star in free fall sounds like it could have great comedy and heart, which Apatow is known for. Hope the script is tight and not just another Hollywood rehash.

Good to see Li Jin Hao in the cast! More Asian representation in big Hollywood comedies is always welcome. The production team sounds solid. Let's hope the humour translates well for international audiences.

February 2027? That's nearly three years from now. Hollywood planning is something else. By then, we'll probably have watched it on some streaming platform day one anyway.

Apatow's early work was brilliant, but his recent films haven't had the same spark. Hope he brings back that magic with Powell. The man can act and has great comic timing.

Country western star storyline? Reminds me a bit of our own Bollywood films about fallen stars making a comeback. Could be relatable in that sense. Hope it does well!
