Honestly, it's refreshing to see a government that doesn't cling to power. If someone needs to go, they go. Kurian had a respectable background in law and minority affairs. Wishing him well for future.

Interesting that a minister from Kerala resigning so soon after getting sworn in. I smell political turmoil behind closed doors. 😏 The fisheries and minority affairs portfolios need stable hands.

Not surprised. The Modi government has been pruning deadwood since 2022. George Kurian was a Rajya Sabha MP from a small state; maybe they needed a fresh face. Fair enough.

I have mixed feelings. On one hand, it’s good that PM Modi acts decisively. On the other, this just adds to the perception of instability in the cabinet. Let’s hope this isn’t a pattern.

Typical Indian politics - shuffle the deck, appoint someone, then quietly show them the door. Kurian ji was an experienced lawyer. Shame to see talent go waste. 😔

I have to say, the constitutional process here was clean - President acted on PM's advice, and it's all transparent. But this constant churn in the council of ministers is unsettling for governance. Stability matters.
