As we gear up to celebrate Friendship Day on Sunday, the two leads of Zee TV's show 'Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan' Shubhangi Latkar and Indira Krishna reflected on the importance of female friendship.
Shubhangi pointed out how the show explores the beauty of friendship between two women.

As a man, I appreciate this perspective too. We often only see women portrayed as competitors in TV serials - saas-bahu dramas, office politics, etc. But real life friendships between women are beautiful and deserve more screen time. Kudos to the writers for exploring this depth. My mother watches this show daily and she loves this angle!
