Interesting to see a career diplomat take on this role. Hope he brings a fresh, apolitical perspective to Delhi's governance and focuses on solving the city's real issues like pollution and infrastructure.

The timing of this reshuffle, just before Rajya Sabha elections, is quite strategic. It's a standard political move, but I hope the new appointees, especially in Delhi, prioritize public service over politics.

As someone who has lived in Delhi for years, I just want an LG who can work effectively with the elected government. The constant tussle between the LG and CM's office hurts the city. Hope Mr. Sandhu can bridge that gap.

His statement shows proper respect and humility. Serving Delhi is a tough job. Let's see if his diplomatic skills help in managing the complex Delhi administration. All the best to him! 🇮🇳

While I respect his service, appointing a former BJP candidate right after elections does blur the line between bureaucracy and politics. The post of LG should be seen as neutral. This is a point of concern.
