Good to see leaders across parties coming together to honor our forces. This is one issue where we should all be united. Respect to all the veterans and their families who bear the real cost of our security.

While the sentiments are good, I hope this respect translates into better policies for our jawans - better equipment, timely pensions, and healthcare for veterans. Actions speak louder than X posts.

Interesting that the parade is in Jaipur this year, outside the cantonment. Makes it more accessible to the public. Our army belongs to the people. Salute to Field Marshal Cariappa and every soldier who followed.

My brother serves in the Army. Days like this mean a lot to families like ours. It's not just about bravery on the border, but also the long separations and constant worry. Thank you for remembering the families too.
