As someone who works in IT, this is scary. Our entire digital ecosystem runs on these data centers. If services were disrupted even for an hour, the impact on businesses and everyday life would be massive. Kudos to the fire department for containing it quickly. Tata should share the root cause analysis publicly.

Classic case of third-party risk in leased premises. Companies outsource everything these days, but when something goes wrong, the accountability is always unclear. Hope this incident doesn't lead to service outages for consumers. Also, why is the cause still not disclosed? This is a public company filing.

GST and property tax implications are the last thing on people's minds, but this is a reminder that our ageing commercial infrastructure in Delhi needs urgent modernisation. Fire safety NOCs are often taken lightly. Well handled by Tata Communications, but let's learn from this.

I live in GK and saw the smoke this morning. It was quite alarming seeing that near a residential area. Glad no one was hurt. But these Next-Gen towers are right next to homes—should there be more regulation on where data centers can operate? Safety first always.

Another fire in a critical infrastructure facility. Reminds me of the 2021 OVHcloud data center fire in Strasbourg. Kudos to Tata team for quick containment. But I'm curious—why is the cause unknown? In developed markets, these investigations are immediate. India needs to step up industrial safety protocols.
