FIFA World Cup: Lamine Yamal's 3-year-old brother Keyne becomes cutest part of Spain's title celebrations
New Jersey, July 20
While Spain's FIFA World Cup celebrations were packed with unforgettable moments, it was right winger Lamine Yamal's three-year-old brother, Keyne, who unexpectedly became the internet's favourite.
After Spain lifted the trophy, Keyne walked onto the pitch and joined the celebrations with his brother. He posed with the World Cup trophy, shared cute moments with Yamal and even showed off his kicking skills, winning hearts with his cuteness.
Yamal also shared a few pictures of Keyne in his victory post.
One of Yamal's two half-siblings, along with sister Baraa, Keyne is the son of Yamal's mother, Sheila Ebana. Ebana was previously in a relationship with Yamal's dad, Mounir Nasraoui, but they split in 2007 when Yamal was a young child. Ebana later remarried and welcomed Keyne in September 2022, The Athletic reported, as per People.

The triumph secured Spain's second men's FIFA World Cup title and their first since lifting the trophy in 2010. For 19-year-old Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal, who was just three years old during Spain's maiden World Cup triumph, marked the biggest achievement of his young career.
The defeat signalled the end of a remarkable era for Argentina and Messi, who guided his country to the 2022 FIFA World Cup title and Copa America triumphs in 2021 and 2024. Having already won UEFA Euro 2024, Spain now holds both the European and world titles, raising hopes of another dominant era reminiscent of the team's historic run between 2008 and 2012, when they won two European Championships and the FIFA World Cup.
In the final at New York New Jersey Stadium, Spain dominated possession and restricted Argentina to just one shot on target while registering 12 of their own. Argentina were also reduced to 10 men in extra time after Enzo Fernandez was sent off following two yellow cards, allowing Spain to see out the victory and reclaim the World Cup crown.
Spain dominated the individual honours at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with three major awards. Rodri was named the tournament's best player and won the Golden Ball. Goalkeeper Unai Simon took home the Golden Glove, while defender Pau Cubarsi was awarded the Best Young Player.

OMG! That kid is too cute. 🥰 I saw the video where he’s trying to kick the ball on the pitch—it’s pure gold. Spain really deserved this win, and now they’re the new kings of world football. A young squad like this spells trouble for other teams!
Spain dominating again—feels like 2010 all over again! But I’ve got to say, Argentina without Messi is like chai without sugar. They struggled big time, especially after that red card. Still, all credit to Rodri and Cubarsi—they were phenomenal.
It’s adorable how players bring their families into these moments. But can we talk about the article mentioning Yamal’s family background? Honestly, that’s personal and not necessary for a sports story—let the kid’s football do the talking. Just a thought. 📝
I’m a huge Messi fan, so it stings seeing Argentina lose. But credit where it’s due—Spain outplayed them completely. A 10-man team, one shot on target… that’s just not good enough. Still, Keyne Yamal was the true MVP of the night! Unbeatable vibes at the trophy lift. 🏆
As someone who follows football in India, seeing this kind of family moment is heartwarming. Yamaal’s career is skyrocketing—from La Masia to winning the World Cup at 19. But that pic of his little brother with the trophy? Internet breaking material! 😄
