Watching this match because my office colleague is from Johannesburg! 🇿🇦 Bafana Bafana really messed up with those two red cards - you can't win World Cup matches with 9 men. Czechs are coming back after 20 years so they'll be hungry. Should be a tight contest at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Finally some football coverage on Indian TV! Unite8 Sports showing World Cup matches is great for fans like me who can't afford multiple streaming subscriptions. But 9:30 PM IST kickoff is way too late for a working day - will have to record it 😴. Hope Patrik Schick plays well for Czechia.
As an Indian football fan, I feel for South Africa - their opening match was pure chaos. Losing captain Themba Zwane to suspension is a massive blow. Czechia showed promise against South Korea but couldn't hold the lead. This is literally a do-or-die match for both teams. Even a draw kills their chances since Mexico and South Korea are sitting pretty.
I just hope Tori Penso referees well - the opening matches had some questionable decisions. South Africa literally had two players sent off in one match, that's just poor discipline. Czechia will probably win this one given their experience and South Africa's depleted squad. But football is unpredictable yaar! ⚽🎉
