Nine medals on Day 1, and six of them gold! This is a dominant performance. The depth in our shooting squad is incredible now. From seniors like Esha and Samrat to the juniors and youth teams, everyone is delivering. Uzbekistan is already far behind in the tally!

As a sports fan, this is thrilling to read. The article mentions the scores, which really shows how tight these competitions are. Samrat's bronze was decided by fractions of a point. Hats off to the precision and calm under pressure.

While the results are fantastic, I hope the media coverage for shooting gets a boost beyond just the Olympics. These athletes work so hard year-round and deserve consistent recognition, not just when they win a big multi-sport event medal.

Hyderabad to the fore again! Esha Singh and now the junior champion Jonathan Gavin Antony (great name!). The system at the Dr. Karni Singh ranges and the support from SAI is clearly paying rich dividends. A 1-2 in the youth event is just domination.

The women's team gold by 13 points is a massive margin in shooting! Manu Bhaker is back in the mix too. So happy for all of them. This bodes very well for the upcoming World Cups and, of course, LA 2028. The pipeline is strong 💪.
