Ektaa Kapoor hints at 'Broken But Beautiful' season 5
Mumbai, April 22
If you loved Broken But Beautiful, there's exciting news. There's a strong possibility the series could return with a fifth season!
On Wednesday, Ektaa took to Instagram and shared a video featuring memorable scenes from the previous parts.
"Should we do another season? And who should be the couple? Some suggestions guys?" she captioned the post.
With Broken But Beautiful already enjoying a loyal fan base for its emotionally layered narratives and memorable performances, the idea of a new season has naturally generated massive anticipation.
Fans chimed in the comment section, expressing excitement about the new season.
"Yes please..make new season," a fan commented.
"Still one of my favourites," another user wrote.
The first season of Broken But Beautiful featured Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi as the central characters. In the third season, late actor Sidharth Shukla was paired opposite Sonia Rathee. Following Sidharth Shukla's untimely passing on September 2, 2021, the makers decided to cancel the fourth season as a mark of respect and tribute to his legacy.
Now it is to be seen who will be cast in the new season.

Honestly, I think they should let it rest. Season 1 with Vikrant and Harleen was perfect. It's become a classic. Sometimes making more seasons just dilutes the magic of the original. Respectfully, Ektaa ma'am, maybe focus on a new story?
As an international viewer, this is my gateway to modern Indian romance dramas! The production quality and storytelling are top-notch. A Season 5 would be amazing. Would love to see a pairing like Vicky Kaushal and Mrunal Thakur – they have great chemistry!
Yes, please! But only if the writing is strong. Last few seasons of other Ektaa shows felt rushed. Take your time, get a solid script. Fans will wait for quality content. Jitna bhi wait karna pade!
This news made my day! 💖 Broken But Beautiful is my comfort show. The soundtrack, the heartbreak, everything is so relatable. For the new couple, how about bringing back Vikrant Massey in a new role? Or maybe explore a more mature, post-30 love story?
Interesting to see the fan engagement strategy here. Asking the audience directly is smart. From a storytelling perspective, moving on from Sidharth Shukla's character respectfully was the right call. A new season needs to stand on its own two feet.
