The EaseMyTrip Foundation has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Public Works Department, Government of Delhi, marking a significant step towards enhancing urban infrastructure and advancing sustainable city development.

As part of this strategic collaboration, the EaseMyTrip Foundation will undertake the adoption, upkeep, and aesthetic enhancement of two key flyovers in the national capital i.e. Mayur Vihar Phase 1 Flyover and Apsara Flyover.

The MoU signing ceremony was held in the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Smt. Hope this is executed well and not just a one-time PR activity. We've seen many 'adoption' drives where the initial enthusiasm fades. Regular upkeep is the key. Still, a positive step for Delhi's infrastructure.

Good to see corporates investing in city beautification. The Apsara border area is a major entry point to Delhi. Making it clean and green will create a great first impression for visitors. More companies should take up such projects.

While beautification is welcome, I hope they also focus on functionality. Better lighting under these flyovers for safety, and ensuring drainage doesn't get blocked during monsoons is equally important. A holistic approach is needed.

Interesting model. In many countries, corporate CSR is directly tied to local community projects. If managed transparently, this can free up government funds for other critical work. The proof will be in the sustained results.

Their work with the 'Adopt a Heritage' programme at places like Agra Fort is commendable. If they bring that same dedication to Delhi's flyovers, it will be a win for all residents. More power to such collaborations! 🙌
