EaseMyTrip Foundation organises special 'A Day of Joy, Love & Laughter' event for cancer warriors
New Delhi, July 8
In a heartfelt initiative aimed at bringing comfort and companionship to those battling cancer, EaseMyTrip Foundation organised 'A Day of Joy, Love & Laughter' for cancer warriors.
The event was held in association with Tanisa Foundation at Savee South Indian Kitchen.
Designed as more than just a community lunch, the event sought to create a safe and uplifting environment where the brave cancer warriors were offered an opportunity to enjoy moments of happiness, warmth, connection and celebration.
The afternoon witnessed heartfelt conversations, shared smiles and meaningful interactions as participants came together over a meal in an atmosphere filled with warmth and positivity.
"From heartfelt interactions to simple joys shared over a meal, every moment reflected EaseMyTrip's commitment to giving back to the community and standing with those who inspire us with their strength every day. Because true service begins when we choose to show up for others," said EaseMyTrip in a statement.

Nice gesture by EaseMyTrip Foundation and Tanisa Foundation. But these events should be more frequent, not just one-off PR exercises. There are thousands of cancer patients across India who need consistent emotional support. Hope they scale this up.
Seeing a corporate foundation genuinely focus on emotional well-being is refreshing. In India, we often neglect the mental health aspect of chronic illness. Small acts like sharing a meal and laughing together can mean the world. Kudos to the team 🙏
As someone who lost their father to cancer last year, I can't stress enough how important moments of joy are. These events bring light to families going through dark times. Thank you to all the volunteers who showed up and shared their hearts.
This is what corporate social responsibility should look like - genuine human connection. Hope more companies in India follow EaseMyTrip's lead and organize events that truly support communities in need, not just write cheques. Well done!
My mother is currently undergoing treatment, and days like these give her so much strength. It's not just about the food or the venue, it's about being treated like a person rather than a patient. Thank you for this beautiful initiative 🌸
