While the greetings are nice, I sometimes wish there was more substance. It feels like a social media checklist for every festival now. The real story is the devotion of the millions at the melas and ghats. That's the true spirit of India.

As someone living abroad, reading about these celebrations fills me with nostalgia. The imagery of the holy dip at Sangam and the yellow flowers of spring is so vivid. Happy Basant Panchami to everyone celebrating!

The festival of knowledge is so important. In today's world of misinformation, we truly need Saraswati's blessings for discernment and wisdom, just as PM Modi mentioned. A thoughtful message for the times.
