"Saucy is a distinct flavor of Walking on Water that I think people needed to witness. - DIVINE"

Mumbai, April 1

Rapper DIVINE has released a new music video titled 'Saucy', bringing together singer Riar Saab and actor Mouni Roy. The track is part of DIVINE's latest album, "Walking on Water", which showcases the rapper's journey from the Mumbai music scene to a global audience.

The music video was shot in Singapore, with visuals captured at well-known locations such as the Helix Bridge, Haji Lane, and the Swissotel The Stamford Helipad. The video features Mouni Roy in a central role, performing choreographed sequences across various cityscapes.

Produced by Karan Kanchan, the song blends DIVINE's signature rap style with Riar Saab's smooth vocals, creating a hip-hop track with melodic undertones.

Discussing the track and its vibe, DIVINE said the song was made to feel good and be easy to listen to. "When we were figuring out where to shoot the track, Singapore just felt right. I was there recently for F1, and that pace stayed with me, it moves fast but still feels easy. Saucy is a distinct flavor of Walking on Water that I think people needed to witness," the rapper said in a release.

Mouni Roy also shared her experience of shooting in Singapore and spoke about how much she enjoyed the city. "Singapore had been on my travel wish list for a while, and now it has my heart. Experiencing this beautiful, beautiful country for the first time while shooting Saucy was something else entirely. The food, the fashion, the energy, it all flows together so effortlessly," she said.

Riar Saab also spoke about the collaboration, saying,"Bhai and I have a natural chemistry when it comes to making music. Saucy was one of those tracks where the energy was right from day one. Singapore was amazing, the whole shoot had a different feel to it. I just wanted to bring that smooth Punjabi touch to the track and let people vibe to it."

Saucy is one of the 16 tracks from Walking on Water, released in December 2025. The album features multiple artists and chronicles DIVINE's musical evolution, reflecting his growth from the local Mumbai rap circuit to an international platform.

The music video for Saucy is now available for streaming on YouTube.

Love the track, but honestly, I miss the old DIVINE sound from 'Gully Boy' days. This feels very polished and international, which is good for growth, but I hope he doesn't lose the raw, street vibe that made him special.

Shot in Singapore, huh? It looks beautiful, but I wish more Indian artists would showcase the incredible locations we have right here in India. Our country has so much visual diversity to offer for music videos.
