These kinds of institutional commemorations are good, but I hope they focus on practical lessons from his life, not just speeches. He stood for national unity, but our country still has so many divisions. More action needed, less ceremony perhaps? 🙏

Never knew the library was organizing such events. Good to see some attention to historical figures who aren't just politicians but thinkers. Mookerjee was indeed a nation-builder. Hope they do more of these.

I'm glad this is happening, but it's important that we also engage young people with his ideas. Libraries should host debates or workshops for youth to discuss his vision. Just lectures might not reach them.

Honoring Syama Prasad Mookerjee is nice, but I find it a bit predictable which party's leaders are doing all the speeches. Why not invite a diverse range of voices to talk about his legacy? Still, the portrait is a good addition.

Nice to see a government library doing cultural events. We need more such commemoration of our leaders who worked for national unity. I hope the lecture series continues and covers his full legacy, not just the political parts.

I respect Mookerjee's contributions, but I hope the library doesn't
