While it's good to remember former leaders, I wish our current politicians would focus more on Delhi's pressing issues like pollution and infrastructure instead of just attending prayer meetings. Actions speak louder than words.
A doctorate in Library Sciences and became CM - what a remarkable journey! Sahib Singh Verma proved that education and public service can go hand in hand. We need more such leaders who understand both grassroots realities and governance. Salute to his simplicity! 🇮🇳
It's heartening to see leaders from different parties coming together to pay tribute. But let's not forget that Sahib Singh Verma ji was a staunch RSS worker and his values of simplicity and discipline are exactly what our politics needs today. Miss his kind of leadership.
As someone from Delhi, I've heard my parents talk about Sahib Singh Verma's time as CM. He really focused on rural areas around Delhi which often get ignored. The fact that he rose from a village background to become CM is what makes Indian democracy special. 😊
Respect for the late leader, but I wish the media and politicians would also discuss his actual policies and achievements rather than just holding prayer meetings. What concrete development did he bring to Delhi? That's what we need to learn from history.
