Delhi Metro's month-long customer satisfaction survey to begin on July 15
New Delhi, July 13
Looking to raise the bar for customer satisfaction, the Delhi Metro plans to conduct its "12th Online Customer Satisfaction Survey - 2026" from July 15 to August 14, said an official on Monday.
Anuj Dayal, Principal Executive Director, Corporate Communications, said, "The main objective of the survey is to collect feedback from the commuters on various components of Metro services and facilities."
Detailed feedback will be obtained from participating commuters on individual topics with a comprehensive questionnaire. The survey will also seek suggestions for improvements, if any, said Dayal.
He said in a statement that commuters who wish to participate in the Survey can visit DMRC's official website at www.delhimetrorail.com and submit their inputs by clicking the links on the home page.
The Survey form will be available in both English and Hindi. The survey includes seven topics on which the feedback is sought, said the statement.
The survey links for all topics will be available on DMRC's website for one month only, to be filled out by participants. The survey will conclude on August 14, it said
Commuters will be able to give their feedback on important aspects of Metro functioning, such as Availability and accessibility; facilities offered to customers; information; quality of services; customer services; service outside the Metro area; and security, safety, and comfort.
Dayal said the Delhi Metro is organising the survey to find out what passengers think of the services it provides.
"The results of the survey will help assess and make necessary improvements in various components of the Metro facilities and services based on the feedback received," he said.
The Delhi Metro has a network of about 416 km with 303 stations (including NOIDA-Greater NOIDA Corridor and Rapid Metro, Gurugram). It has over 300 train sets of four, six and eight coaches.
The Airport Express link between the Indira Gandhi International Airport and New Delhi has propelled Delhi into the league of global cities with high-speed rail connectivity between the city and the airport.

Great initiative! I hope they also consider feedback on cleanliness of toilets at stations and better signage for first-time users. Also, the Airport Express is a gem—wish they extend it to more areas!
I appreciate DMRC for doing this survey, but I'm skeptical if they really implement changes. Last year's survey I filled out about security cameras not working—still no improvement at my station. Let's see...
Seven topics is good, but I wish they'd add a section for "integration with last-mile transport" like autos and e-rickshaws. After getting off at Noida, it's a struggle to find transport. DMRC can't control everything, but feedback helps!
As a daily commuter, I think the survey is a good move. But more than online, they should also have physical kiosks for feedback for those who aren't tech-savvy. Not everyone has internet access. 🙏
Honestly, DMRC is one of the best public transport systems in India. The punctuality and AC are great. I just hope they factor in feedback for better mobile network inside tunnels—sometimes it's impossible to make calls or use data.
