Delhi BJP releases office bearers' list for 11 organisational districts, ensures 33 pc representation for women
New Delhi, June 27
The Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday released the list of office bearers for 11 organisational districts and announced the appointment of some new Mandal presidents.
According to the party, the district presidents of the 11 organisational districts formally declared the lists of office bearers for their respective districts with the approval of Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra and the party's senior leadership.
The BJP said that the lists for the remaining three organisational districts--North Outer Delhi, West Delhi and Najafgarh--will be announced at an appropriate time after consultations with the respective district presidents.
Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra said the newly announced list reflects the national leadership's commitment to women's empowerment by ensuring 33 per cent representation for women in the organisational structure.
He also said that adequate opportunities have been provided to young leaders in the appointments.
Malhotra further stated that all prescribed norms were strictly followed while appointing office bearers belonging to the Scheduled Castes.
"The list of office bearers released today has been prepared in accordance with the national leadership's commitment to women's empowerment, with 33 per cent representation for women, while also providing sufficient opportunities to the youth," he said.
He added that the new organisational structure would provide greater energy and strength to the Delhi BJP and enhance the party organisation's ability to serve the people of the national capital.

Good to see BJP walking the talk on women's empowerment. But why only 33%? Should be 50% if they really mean "equal representation." Also, hope the SC quota isn't just for show—actual inclusion matters more than numbers. 😊
This is exactly what we need—more women and youth in politics. Delhi BJP is setting a good example. But the real test will be when these leaders actually work on ground issues like cleaning Yamuna and fixing roads. Let's see performance, not just announcements. 👏
Another list, another promise. I've seen this movie before—women given positions but no authority. And what about representation for OBCs and minorities? The "sabka saath, sabka vikas" slogan needs to reflect in appointments too. Still, kudos for at least talking about it. 🤷♂️
As a woman, I'm cautiously optimistic. 33% is a start, but where are the women from disadvantaged backgrounds? Most of these appointments seem from privileged families. Real empowerment means giving voice to the marginalised, not just filling quotas. Still, it's better than nothing. 🌸
BJP is doing good work in Delhi—cleaning politics, empowering women. But we need 33% in elected positions too, not just party posts. This should be a model for other parties. At least they're trying to move beyond the old-boys club. Let's see the results in 2025 elections. 💪
