Delhi BJP outreach: South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri meets Patel Chest Hospital chief
New Delhi, June 18
As part of the "12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare" campaign, Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party's special public outreach initiative began on Thursday under which MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri met the Patel Chest Hospital Director to highlight achievements of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union government.
Under this campaign, a dialogue was held between Bidhuri and Rajkumar, Director of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Hospital, regarding the achievements of the Narendra Modi government, and he was honoured on the occasion.
Delhi BJP leader Abhishek Tandon was also present during the programme.
Bidhuri also visited the "Tobacco Quitline" operating at the hospital and gathered information about the awareness and counselling efforts being carried out for tobacco de-addiction and prevention.
The South Delhi MP's visit to the Patel Chest Hospital was part of a special three-day public outreach campaign across all Delhi BJP mandals to mark completion of 12 years of the Union government led by PM Modi.
Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra launched the campaign from Farsh Bazaar in Bhola Nath Nagar area of Shahdara district. He visited homes of local residents and distributed a leaflet highlighting the welfare schemes of the Narendra Modi government.
During the outreach campaign, Malhotra interacted with Govind, a beneficiary of the Prime Minister SVANidhi scheme, who has been earning his livelihood for decades by repairing shoes and slippers in Bhola Nath Nagar.
Former State BJP President and MP Manoj Tiwari participated in the door-to-door outreach campaign in Burari.
He reached out to people and discussed the achievements and welfare schemes of the Central government led by PM Modi and the BJP-led Delhi government by distributing the campaign leaflet.
West Delhi MP and State BJP General Secretary Kamaljeet Sehrawat conducted the three-day door-to-door outreach campaign in Nangli Ward of Najafgarh, and distributed leaflets among people highlighting the achievements and schemes of PM Modi-led Central government and the BJP-led Delhi government.
Matiala MLA Sandeep Sehrawat and Standing Committee Chairperson Satya Sharma were also present.
In another development, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, City BJP President Malhotra, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Members of Parliament, Ministers of the Delhi government, MLAs, Mayor, Deputy Mayor, NDMC Members, along with State General Secretaries and other office bearers inaugurated the Jan Kalyan Shivirs.
Delhi BJP President Malhotra said, "These 'Jan Kalyan Shivirs' have brought several schemes and facilities of both the Delhi government under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta as well as the Central government's leadership directly to the doorstep of the people, and today the public is blessing this initiative."

Finally some positive news! The Tobacco Quitline initiative is actually brilliant - smoking addiction is a huge problem in India, and combining health awareness with government schemes makes sense. At least they are connecting with people directly rather than just doing press conferences. 👏
"Jan Kalyan Shivirs" - sounds good on paper, but I wonder how many people actually benefit from these doorstep services. In my experience, such campaigns often end up being photo ops. Would love to see real data on how many people actually got their issues resolved through these camps.
SVANidhi scheme helping street vendors like shoe repair guy Govind - that's the kind of grassroots impact we need more of. Small businesses are backbone of our economy. Kudos to BJP for reaching out beyond just the political class. 🇮🇳
Honestly, this feels like election season gimmickry. We have civic issues in South Delhi - water shortage, garbage collection problems - and they're distributing leaflets about central government achievements? Connect the dots, please. A bit more real action, less propaganda.
Good to see MPs doing ground-level work instead of just sitting in Delhi. MP Bidhuri visiting hospital and learning about de-addiction programs is actually constructive. But I hope this isn't just a 3-day campaign - sustained effort matters more.
