I recently moved to Delhi from the US for work, and it's inspiring to see how Indians celebrate Independence Day with such enthusiasm and unity. The week-long schedule including tributes to martyrs and the Red Fort ceremony on August 15 is impressive. I will join the Tiranga Yatra to experience this cultural celebration firsthand.
While I appreciate the efforts to commemorate I-Day, I wish the focus would also shift towards constructive dialogue on current issues like pollution, infrastructure, and education rather than just symbolic events. The remembrance of the Partition Horrors on August 14 is especially important, and I hope these programmes go beyond mere political appearances and actually engage grassroots communities in meaningful discussions about our nation's progress.

I appreciate the detailed planning by Vishnu Mittal ji and the team. Going to hoist the flag at my society too on August 15!

Being a foreigner here, I find the collective spirit of the people during these celebrations genuinely moving.
