Good to see the Army taking proactive steps, but I hope this isn't just another talk shop. We need tangible outcomes—field-deployable tech that actually reaches our soldiers on the border. The real test is procurement and implementation, not just exhibitions.

Having served in the Northern Command, I can say firsthand that tech integration is crucial for our jawans in harsh terrains. Events like these bridge the gap between uniformed personnel and civilian innovators. 284 companies? That's impressive! Hope to see some real breakthroughs coming out of Prayagraj. 🙏

The theme 'Raksha Triveni Sangam' is very apt for Prayagraj. But we must ensure that these symposia don't become Delhi-centric. The real innovation often comes from smaller towns. Let's see if the tech displayed actually solves problems like logistics in Ladakh or surveillance in Punjab.

As a retired defense official, I appreciate the effort to bring academia and industry together. However, I wish the symposium also addressed maintenance challenges. Many imported systems fail due to lack of spares. Let's focus on sustainable, easy-to-maintain indigenous solutions. Good luck to all participants!

I'm excited that 284 companies are participating! This shows that our defense startups are no longer in the shadows. The 'Make in India' push in defense is finally gaining momentum. Hope small vendors from tier-2 cities like Prayagraj get a chance to showcase their innovations too. 👍
