Good to see talks on fertilisers and trade. Our farmers need stable and affordable fertiliser supplies. Hope this translates to lower prices and better availability in the domestic market. The focus on people-to-people ties is also welcome.

While I understand the historical importance, we must be careful. The world is watching. Our diplomacy needs to be agile. We should not become overly dependent on any single nation for critical needs like defence or energy. A balanced approach is key.

Interesting to see the focus on implementation of past agreements. Often these summits have great announcements but follow-through is slow. Hope the "specific steps" discussed lead to tangible outcomes in trade and investment soon.

Connectivity projects are the future. If this partnership can improve trade routes and energy corridors, it will boost our economy. Russia's resources and India's market and tech can be a powerful combination. Jai Hind!

The finance minister also meeting him shows this is serious economic diplomacy. Hope we get good deals on oil and other imports. In these times, securing energy at good prices is directly linked to controlling inflation at home.
