Great initiative by BPGC and the sponsors. It's heartening to see amateur sports, especially for women, receive corporate support. Hope the coverage is good so young girls across India get inspired to take up the sport.

As someone new to following golf in India, this is exciting! 96 entries is a fantastic number. Sad that last year's champion Bhuvika Bhise won't be defending her title, but that means we'll crown a new winner. The competition seems wide open!

Paromita Mukherjee from Bengaluru is the one to watch! Being the AVT tour top rank is no small feat. Wishing all the golfers the very best. Hope the weather in Mumbai holds up for them.

While it's great to have this event, I do wish there was more mainstream media coverage for women's sports beyond cricket. These athletes train just as hard. Respect to Lt. Col Harbhajan Singh for having a trophy in his name for the Silver Division.

BPGC greens are beautiful! A perfect venue. My niece is taking up golf and she's so excited about this championship. Shows how such events can really boost interest at the grassroots level. Jai ho!
