Bringing back Okram Ibobi Singh as President is a smart move. He has the experience. But the real test is whether this new committee can connect with the youth and address the hill-valley divide. Just changing faces won't be enough.

So many appointments! Four Vice-Presidents and twelve General Secretaries? Looks like they are trying to please everyone by giving posts. Hope it leads to better coordination and not more internal politics. The people of Manipur deserve better.

Interesting to see the mix of names in the list. Seems like an attempt at inclusive representation from different communities. That's crucial for stability in Manipur. Wishing them success.

With all due respect, this feels like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. The Congress needs fresh ideas and grassroots workers, not just recycling the same old leaders and their families. The article itself mentions Victor Keishing is a former CM's son.

A Political Affairs Committee is a good step. Hopefully it will help in making strategic decisions. But the proof will be in the campaigning. They have a year to show they are a credible alternative. Jai Hind!
