While the relief flights are good, the communication from airlines has been very poor. My flight with Air India was cancelled last minute and I had to find out from news, not from them. They need better customer service systems during such crises.

Safety first, always. It's a difficult situation but halting flights is the right call. Hope the stranded passengers get home soon and the conflict de-escalates. The Gulf region has so many Indian workers, their safety is paramount.

I'm glad to see the coordination with the Consulate in Jeddah. In times like these, our embassies and consulates become a lifeline for citizens abroad. Well done to the team on the ground.

The offer of full refunds or rescheduling is a must. Many people travel to the Gulf for work and their budgets are tight. They shouldn't suffer financially due to a geopolitical situation beyond their control.

This shows why having a strong national carrier matters. Air India and IndiGo stepping up. Hope other Indian airlines also contribute if they have capacity. Jai Hind.
