While I appreciate the diplomatic engagement, I hope our government is also keeping an eye on the human rights situation in Myanmar. We should maintain military ties but also push for democratic restoration. Balance is key - security cooperation without compromising our values.

Admiral's visit to Myanmar is a smart move. We need to counter Chinese influence in the region - Myanmar sits strategically between India and ASEAN. Regular IMNEX exercises and coordinated patrols are essential. I'm glad India is taking proactive steps in the Indian Ocean Region! 👏

Nice to see our navy building bridges with neighboring countries. Myanmar Navy's participation in MILAN and other Indian naval events shows the growing trust between both forces. Hope this visit also addresses challenges like illegal fishing and drug trafficking in the Bay of Bengal.

These bilateral visits are routine but important. What matters more is the substance - operational coordination, training exchanges, and joint exercises. The fact that Myanmar attends all our major naval events is encouraging. Happy to see India's maritime diplomacy in action!

Strategic engagement with Myanmar is essential for regional stability. From an Indian perspective, this visit strengthens India's role as a net security provider in the Indian Ocean. The focus on capacity building and training will benefit both navies. Good diplomacy!
