The Chief Minister laid special emphasis on improving healthcare access in remote, forested, and tribal regions, particularly Bastar and Surguja, where challenging terrain poses challenges to the delivery of medical services. Sai also briefed the Union Health Minister on various health schemes and programmes being implemented in Chhattisgarh with Central Government support. He said coordinated efforts between the Centre and the State have helped expand healthcare services, with particular focus on maternal and child healthcare, institutional deliveries, treatment of serious illnesses, health insurance and emergency medical services, the statement added.

Schemes such as Ayushman Bharat have enabled needy families to access quality medical treatment. He said the Chhattisgarh Government is committed to effectively implementing Central schemes and ensuring that their benefits reach the last person.

Further, as per the statement, Nadda took note of the initiatives being undertaken to strengthen healthcare services in Chhattisgarh and assured the necessary support from the Central Government for further improving health and medical facilities in the state.

Expressing gratitude to the Union Health Minister, Chief Minister Sai said that continued cooperation from the Central Government would further accelerate the expansion of healthcare services in Chhattisgarh, particularly in remote and tribal areas, and help provide citizens with better, modern medical facilities.
