While political meetings are important, I hope India is also keeping a close watch on Chinese influence in Nepal. We must ensure our development partnership actually reaches the people and isn't just photo ops. The Nepali people deserve real benefits from our relationship.

Finally a sensible cross-party engagement! Too often we only talk to one party. RSP is a fresh voice in Nepali politics and their leader seems progressive. Hope both countries move beyond just rhetoric and actually solve border issues and water sharing. 🙏

Ek baat toh clear hai - India-Nepal relations are ancient. But I wish our media would focus less on dignitary visits and more on the actual issues like trade imbalances, Kalapani dispute, and why Nepali students still face hassles at Indian borders. The devil is in the details yaar.

Great move by Amit Shah ji to engage with emerging political forces in Nepal. The RSP represents the youth demographic and their chairman being a former TV journalist is interesting. Hope this leads to more people-to-people exchanges, especially in education and healthcare sectors.

As a Nepali living in India, I'm happy to see this. But honestly, our common people want less politics and more progress. We need better connectivity, easier visa processes, and more scholarships for Nepali students in India. The leaders meeting is good, but common citizens want action. 🙏
