'Brought renewed glory to the Bhagavad Gita': Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj extends greetings to PM Modi

Wishing him good and healthy life on his birthday, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary, Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj, said that Prime Minister Modi brought renewed glory to the Bhagavad Gita and taught its values to the world. He added that it is not just an individual's birth anniversary and is a celebration for all.
"As we extend our heartfelt wishes to him on his birthday today, our hearts are filled with emotion because this country has found such a great personality who has continuously enhanced the glory of the nation. By taking the Bhagavad Gita across the world, he enhanced the glory of the Gita."
He claimed that PM Modi introduced the Bhagavad Gita in a new light to the world and made it more glorious.
"PM Modi took the practice of Yoga to new heights and gave the World Yoga Day to the world. He (PM Modi) worked really hard and showed the world and the youth of the nation that a young person from a humble background can achieve great heights."
Govind Dev Giri Ji added that PM Modi contributed to all three sides: wholesome development, our heritage, our roots, and science.
His work in all three spheres is unique and commendable, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary said.
"He (PM Modi) has put our scientists and our soldiers at the forefront for the world to see, and enabled them to bring out the best of their skills. This is no ordinary feat. The milestones he has achieved in his life are not ordinary and thus we pay our respects to this great individual. You are not only a great Prime Minister but have built an era of your own," he said.
Earlier, Brahmavihari Swami, Head of International Relations at BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, also wished PM Modi on his 76th birthday and said that he has enhanced India's standing in the world.
Brahmavihari Swami said, "As we celebrate the 76th birthday of our beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is also a time to mark 25 years of his public life. I remember him from his younger days, when he was a simple political worker. Since 1981, PM Modi shared a deeply emotional bond with father-son bond with the late spiritual leader of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha Pramukh Swami Maharaj."
