BJP chief Nitin Nabin to interact with state unit presidents on June 1
New Delhi, May 30
BJP chief Nitin Nabin will interact with party state presidents on June 1 at the Delhi office in a bid to fine-tune the strategy for elections ahead and discuss activities planned to celebrate 12 years of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government, a party leader said on Saturday.
B.L. Santhosh, BJP's National General Secretary (Organisation), and other National General Secretaries will also participate in the brainstorming session to discuss strategies for the upcoming elections, said the party leader.
Apart from an assessment of the state-level activities of the BJP, the senior leaders are also expected to discuss issues related to the organisation's expansion.
Booth-level strengthening of the BJP will also remain in focus as Nabin sets his eyes on the next phase of elections in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur in early 2027.
The meeting comes at a time when state units of the BJP are close to completing training sessions for Mandal-level workers under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Maha Prashikshan Abhiyan.
The party's Mega Training Campaign aims to cover all Mandals in the states and nurture the ideology of cultural nationalism and integral humanism among workers.
Earlier on Saturday, Nabin interacted with party workers in Dehradun and visited the home of a booth president.
In a message on X, he wrote, "Today, upon reaching the residence of booth president Shri Kishor Kumar Ji at booth number 141 located at Tapkeshwar in Gari Cantt, Dehradun, refreshments were partaken."
The BJP national President also interacted with students in the Uttarakhand capital on youth empowerment.
In a message on X, he wrote, "Addressed students, academicians and eminent personalities at the Academic Conclave on the theme 'Building Viksit Bharat 2047: The Transformative Role of Higher Education' in Dehradun."
"Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, youth empowerment has remained at the core of the NDA Government's vision. From strengthening the education ecosystem to promoting innovation, startups and creativity, several transformative initiatives have created new opportunities for young Indians, enabling them to play a leading role in India's journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047," said Nabin.

Viksit Bharat 2047 is a great vision, but first we need strong grassroots democracy. These training sessions for Mandal-level workers under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay scheme are a step in the right direction. Let's see how much translates into actual change in UP and Punjab.
Interesting strategy meeting. But with 2027 elections still far away, isn't this a bit premature? Or are they sensing something? The focus on booth presidents visiting homes shows they want personal connect. Not bad, but actions speak louder than press releases.
The 'Maha Prashikshan Abhiyan' sounds very ideological. Cultural nationalism is fine, but I hope they also train workers on practical governance like healthcare, education, job creation. Otherwise it's just rhetoric. The youth empowerment speech in Dehradun was good but needs follow-through.
Good to see Nitin Nabin personally visiting booth presidents and students. This is how you build a party from ground up. The UP and Punjab strategies will be crucial. But honestly, the Congress and other parties should also learn from this organizational discipline. 👏
Respectfully, all this planning sounds great but I'm more interested in what they're doing about inflation and unemployment. The youth empowerment talk is nice, but young Indians need jobs, not just conclaves. Let's hope this strategy delivers results for the common person.
