Finally a Bollywood celebrity speaking from the heart instead of just posting flag photos on Republic Day! Bhumi has always come across as grounded. The way she described being at the border and seeing China gave me chills. Our soldiers truly are the real superheroes. We need more awareness like this. What are we civilians actually doing for them? 🤔

It's nice to see celebrities using their platform for something meaningful. Bhumi's words about feeling indebted really resonate. But let's be honest - we also need systemic support for our armed forces beyond just gratitude. Better pay, mental health services, and rehabilitation for veterans. The government should take note. 👍

Bhumi's words are heartfelt but I wish our society showed this respect more routinely. Our jawans sacrifice their families and comfort while we complain about traffic jams and Netflix buffering. She's absolutely correct - we don't do enough. Maybe start by donating to Army welfare funds or simply thanking a soldier when you see one. The least we can do. 🙏

I still remember my visit to Siachen - the winds, the cold, the isolation our soldiers endure. Bhumi is bang on. But why are only Bollywood actresses being sent to these places? Where is the government's consistent outreach? Also, while we appreciate the sentiment, let's not forget that many of these same stars stay silent on issues like defence budget cuts. Actions, please.
