Bhagyashree reveals hubby Himalaya Dasani hasn't taken her on a date night in ages
Mumbai, June 7
Veteran actress Bhagyashree has playfully teased her husband Himalaya Dasani, revealing that the couple hasn't been on a date night in ages.
In a candid and lighthearted moment on Instagram, the actress shared a playful post, writing, "Fights over date nights.....End up with day dates P.s. Food at Banana Leaf Spa massage at Sorin #meandmine #hubbynme #couplegoals #datenights."
Bhagyashree posted a video that opens with her husband explaining that bonsai plants need a lot of sunlight, a lot of care, and a whole lot of love. Just then, the actress comes in and reminds him that it has been ages since they went out for a date night. The clip then shows the couple enjoying South Indian food at a restaurant. Sharing the clip, the 'Maine Pyar Kiya' actress wrote, "Fights over date nights.....End up with day dates P.s. Food #meandmine #hubbynme #couplegoals #datenights."
Meanwhile, Bhagyashree recently opened up about her "Pehli Rasoi" moment and the unexpected reaction it received from her father-in-law. During her appearance on the show 'Tum Ho Naa - Ghar Ki Superstar,' the actress recalled how her special surprise meal did not go quite as planned.
In a candid conversation with host Rajeev Khandelwal, Bhagyashree shared that she wanted to impress her family by preparing something unique for her first meal in the kitchen after marriage. She further added that, at the time, Chinese cuisine was considered quite exotic, making her choice even more special. "Jab yaha par mai aai, to jo bolte hai na peheli rasoi, to maine socha chalo mai kuch alag type ka khana inhe khilati hu, to mai uss zamane ki baat kar rahi hu jaha pe aaj kal jo korean aur italian, ye sab nahi tha uss time par, toh special cheez matlab chineese."
Bhagyashree further revealed that her father-in-law's first reaction completely took her by surprise. "Maine kaha aaiye, mere father in law baithe khaana dekha, sabse pehele, beta papad kidhar hai. Maine kaha lo kar lo baat, mai jo bhagi room mai, maine kaha Chinese khane mai papad chahiye. Maine kaha aaj ke baad mai kabhi nahi khaana banaungi."
"Tum Ho Naa Ghar Ki Superstar," hosted by Rajeev Khandelwal, airs on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.

Bhagyashree is still a legend from "Maine Pyar Kiya" days! But honestly, her hubby focusing on bonsai while she’s waiting for a date night? That’s peak husband behaviour 😂 Reminds me of my own struggles with romance after 20 years of marriage. Good for them for keeping things light!
I love how Bhagyashree’s generation keeps it real about marriage—no fake filters, just honest "fights over date nights" and funny memories like the papad fiasco! 😂 That Chinese food story is pure gold. Also, she looked so elegant in that saree during the show appearance. Nostalgia at its best!
Bhagyashree’s dad joke about the papad is priceless! "Chinese khaane mein papad chahiye" 😂 That’s the kind of unexpected twist that makes family life so entertaining. But honestly, her hubby seems sweet—bonsai plants, South Indian meals... they’re #CoupleGoals for embracing everyday love!
As someone who follows Indian cinema from abroad, it’s refreshing to see these celebrities sharing such unfiltered, funny moments. Bhagyashree’s "peheli rasoi" story shows that even stars face the same domestic dramas we do! The bonsai vs date night conflict is global, I guess. Nice light read. 👍
Bhagyashree is proof that age doesn’t matter when it comes to feeling young in love! That playful banter with Himalaya is adorable. But I must say—how come nobody
