West Bengal elections are becoming synonymous with violence every time. When will this end? It's the common people who suffer the most. The Election Commission needs to take much stronger action.

Very disturbing news. Using sharp weapons and setting bikes on fire? This is goondaism, not politics. The TMC leadership can deny, but the pattern is clear. Hope the victim in Balasore recovers soon.

As an observer, it's concerning to see such reports from a key Indian state. The police investigation must be transparent and impartial. Political parties should compete on development agendas, not through intimidation.

While I don't support the BJP, I condemn this attack unequivocally. Violence is never the answer. I also think the BJP should reflect on its own aggressive campaign style that sometimes heats up the atmosphere. Both sides need to lower the temperature.

Blocking the highway was the right way to protest peacefully and demand action. The police saying "no one arrested so far" is the most frustrating part. What are they waiting for? CCTV footage must be reviewed immediately.
