Bankipur bypoll: Nitin Nabin hopeful of Neeraj Sinha's victory, says he will carry forward legacy of development

Bharatiya Janata Party national president Nitin Nabin on Tuesday exuded confidence about party candidate Neeraj Sinha's resounding victory in the high-stakes Bankipur by-poll, a constituency he himself represented for five consecutive terms.
Speaking to the press after concluding a day-long visit to the constituency, Nabin recalled his familial and emotional connection with the people of Bankipur and said that the new party karyakarta with humble beginnings will take forward the legacy of service and development.
Nabin told newsmen that as a Karyakarta, MLA, and representative of the area, it was his responsibility to stand among his people. He said he is very happy that the BJP leadership allowed a worker like a Mandal President to serve the people of Bankipur. He added that this young man will serve the constituency with dedication and devotion, as a brother and son of Bankipur's people.
Reflecting on his visit to the poll-bound constituency headed for voting in a fortnight, Nabin said since this has been his constituency, the people expected him to come before them, and as a Karyakarta, MLA, and representative of the area, it was his responsibility to stand among his people.
Nabin asserted that remarkable progress has been made in the constituency in all basic amenities including parks, community buildings, roads, water, and electricity. He said that the Patna Municipal Corporation has successfully tendered Bihar's first solid waste management project here and a major institution will work further for cleanliness and sanitation in the constituency.
Rallying behind Sinha's candidature, Nabin hoped that as the people of Bankipur blessed him, they will shower the same trust and blessings on Sinha, who will give further momentum to Bankipur's journey of development. He added that Bankipur will certainly become an example of all-round development in Bihar, and Sinha will fulfil this resolve.
Nabin further affirmed that Bankipur would always remain a priority for him, even after becoming a Rajya Sabha member. He stated that since the party has given him an opportunity in the Rajya Sabha, even as an MP, his role will ensure that Bankipur will never be far from him, and the resolve for its development will always remain with him.
