Sad to see cricket politics affecting the game. Bangladesh fans must be heartbroken - missing a T20 World Cup is no small matter. Hope the inquiry brings transparency and this doesn't happen again. 🏏

As an Indian cricket fan, I welcome this investigation. If the previous Bangladesh government made a mistake based on unverified security concerns, it's right to hold them accountable. But let's not make this political - cricket should unite us. 🇮🇳🇧🇩

Interesting development. If there was no real security threat, then someone in the BCB made a huge error in judgment. Scotland must be thrilled to have gotten the spot, but this whole episode reflects poorly on Bangladesh cricket administration.

Respect to the new minister for following through on this inquiry. Accountability is important in sports administration. Bangladesh has talented players who deserve better from their board. The truth must come out. ✊

While I support the investigation, I hope this doesn't become a blame game. Cricket diplomacy matters in South Asia. Bangladesh and India share strong cricketing ties - let's not let bureaucracy spoil the spirit of the game. 🤝
