Arslan Goni talks about Salman Khan's impact on 'Alliance'
Mumbai, August 10
Actor Arslan Goni, who recently wrapped up the streaming reality show 'Alliance', has spoken about the impact of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's entry into the show.
Arslan spoke with IANS after the culmination of the show's 1st season, and said that popularity for the show followed Salman Khan given his massive fan-following.
He told IANS, "It was a great moment. Wherever he goes, the experience gets uplifted. His entry proved to be great for the show, it got a lot of popularity. The way he came to the show, and sat all of us down for talks, it made our day. It was a great experience".
He also opened up on the impact of the words of his girlfriend, Sussanne Khan, as he shared, "She said, 'I miss you'. It felt really good. It impacted me a lot because I was missing her too, and then we hugged. So, it felt really good. When she said that, I wasn't expecting that she would miss me so much".
Arslan and Sussanne Khan met through mutual friends, and have been going strong for over 5 years. They initially kept their equation private, and became more open about their relationship eventually, sharing affectionate posts and appearing together at social gatherings.
Sussanne confirmed their relationship publicly in 2022, while Arslan has often spoken warmly about her and their connection.
Their relationship has also drawn attention because Sussanne was previously married to Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. Interestingly, Arslan and Hrithik maintain a cordial relationship, and the two couples have been seen together socially.
Meanwhile, the 1st season of 'Alliance' concluded with Mini Mathur being crowned the winner, taking home the trophy and INR 50 lakh. Aly Goni finished as the first runner-up, while Ruhee Dosani was the second runner-up, completing the final three.
The show featured a large ensemble of contestants, including Kushal Tandon, Niti Taylor and others. Arslan's journey also became a talking point because of his relationship with Sussanne Khan, who made an emotional appearance during his stint on the show.

Honestly, I find it interesting how Arslan and Hrithik manage to stay cordial despite everything. It shows maturity. But let's be real - without Salman's cameo, would anyone even care about this show? The reality TV space is so crowded these days.
Sussanne and Arslan make such a cute couple! 😍 The way she said "I miss you" on national television, that was so genuine. 5 years strong and still going - that's rare in Bollywood circles. All the best to them!
Salman Khan is like the lucky charm of Indian television. Whatever he touches becomes gold. But I have to say, I'm more impressed by Mini Mathur winning - she played the game smartly. Deserving winner! Also, happy to see Aly Goni at runner-up position.
Honestly, I'm tired of every show relying on Salman Khan for popularity. Can't these shows stand on their own merit? But yes, I agree with Arslan - when bhai enters, energy changes. Also, his relationship with Sussanne seems very mature. Thoda overhyped karte hain log, but okay.
Arslan Goni is one of the most underrated actors, and it's good to see him getting this kind of recognition. His journey on the show was interesting, especially the emotional arc with Sussanne. Also, the way he respects Hrithik's equation shows his grounded nature. Respect!
