Armaan Malik's words are so profound. "The soul knows when it's time to change direction" – it's a very Indian, spiritual way of looking at a career shift. Respect to Arijit for following his inner calling.

I have to respectfully disagree with the decision. His voice is a national treasure. At his peak, retiring feels like a loss to Indian cinema. Hope he reconsiders for his fans.

As an NRI, his music was my connection to home. Songs like "Tum Hi Ho" and "Channa Mereya" are timeless. The industry won't be the same. Thank you for the magic, Arijit.

Maybe he wants to focus on independent music or composing. The playback industry can be brutal with deadlines and demands. Wishing him peace and new creative heights! 🎵

Amaal Mallik's reaction is exactly how I feel – lost! But true fans will respect his decision. At least we have his vast library of songs to listen to forever. #Legend
