#FlashbackFriday to a scene from Hathyar."
He added, "The language, the attitude and the unpredictability of the character were all far removed from who I was, which made the experience both challenging and exciting."
He further wrote, "Sharing screen space with Sanjay Dutt, Sachin Khedekar, Gulshan Grover, Shilpa Shetty and Sharad Kapoor, under Mahesh Manjrekar's direction, made the journey even more memorable. Looking back, what I value most is the opportunity to explore different worlds and different shades of people through the characters I play. Enjoy scene from Hathyar."

Yaar, I miss those days when Bollywood made such gritty crime dramas without glorifying violence unnecessarily. Sanjay Dutt was perfect for this role. Anup Soni's journey from negative roles to CID's Daya bhai is inspiring. True artist! 👏
I think Hathyar was a decent film but not as impactful as Vaastav. Mahesh Manjrekar's direction was good but the story felt stretched in parts. Still, Anup Soni deserves credit for taking on challenging roles beyond his TV comfort zone.
Anup Soni has always been a versatile actor. From playing a tough cop in CID to this rugged character in Hathyar - he's proved his range. I wish Bollywood gave more such roles to TV actors. The industry needs this crossover talent! 💫
Honestly, Sanjay Dutt and Shilpa Shetty's pairing in this film was interesting. But Anup Soni's character arc was the real highlight. He played that negative role with such conviction that you actually rooted for his character even when he was doing bad things. Masterclass acting!
It's wonderful to see actors appreciating their past work. Anup Soni's dedication to his craft is evident. Bollywood in 2002 had such unique storytelling. This makes me want to rewatch Hathyar again! 🍿
