Finally a family entertainer that isn't just remakes or action! The blend of faith, fate, and comedy sounds refreshing. Manoj Bajpayee launching the trailer was a nice touch too - their friendship shows. Hoping the "right direction" idea doesn't get too preachy and stays balanced with humor.
The concept reminds me of those WhatsApp forwards about "vastu" and "direction changing luck" - but in a good way! Annu Kapoor's comic timing is unmatched. Curious to see how Pavan Malhotra and Brijendra Kala fit in... that's a powerhouse of character actors.
As someone new to Indian cinema, this seems like a charming comedy. The idea of an ordinary man believing a simple direction change can fix his life is universally funny. The title "Uttar Da Puttar" is intriguingly catchy too. Might check it out when it releases internationally.
I have mixed feelings. The cast is amazing - Annu ji, Pavan ji, Rekha ji... but the "faith fixes everything" angle feels a bit overdone in Bollywood lately. I hope the film offers a more nuanced take, maybe showing how blind belief can also cause problems. Still, giving it a chance for the comedy.
Sandiip Kapur and Ravinder Siwach - interested to see their collaboration. The trailer seems lighthearted and that's exactly what we need after heavy masala films. Annu Kapoor's energy is infectious even in the trailer! Waise, "uttar da puttar
