While the meeting's intent is good, I hope such discussions translate into concrete action on the ground. We need more than just photo-ops to foster real communal harmony.

Interesting to see this meeting just before the budget session. Maybe there will be some allocation for preserving our cultural heritage sites like the Ajmer Dargah? Fingers crossed.

As someone who has visited Ajmer Sharif, the atmosphere there is truly about unity and devotion that transcends religion. It's heartening to see its spiritual head engaging with the government on these values.

Sufi music and poetry are a treasure of India. If the government is serious, they should include promotion of Sufi arts in the upcoming budget. It's soft power that can heal many divides.

Good meeting, but the article feels like two separate news pieces mashed together - one on the Sufi council and one on the budget session. The connection isn't very clear.
