SSB does such tough duty guarding our borders with Nepal and Bhutan. Good that they get a chance for some sports and camaraderie. Fitness is crucial for our forces. All the best to all teams!

While this is a positive event, I hope the focus on infrastructure continues. Bharat Chettri is right – Siliguri and many other tier-2 cities need big stadiums and facilities to truly build a sports culture.

Handball is an exciting sport, though not as popular as cricket or hockey here. Great initiative to promote different games. Hope the exhibition matches are open for public viewing!
