Akanksha Puri talks about bringing authenticity to her special appearance in Gujarati film

Actress Akanksha Puri is set to make a special appearance in an upcoming Gujarati film.
Talking about her experience, she said she did not want to simply follow what she was told but instead wanted to get the Gujarati essence right. Akanksha told IANS that she made a conscious effort to understand the language and culture before stepping into the role.
Speaking about the experience, Akanksha said, "I wanted to get the Gujarati essence right and not just go by what I was told. I feel when you are stepping into a new language and culture, you should make the effort to understand it properly. I spent time learning the pronunciation and expressions, and honestly, it was such a fun experience. I really wanted to bring that authenticity to my appearance."
Akanksha will be making a special appearance in an upcoming Gujarati film. While details of her special appearance remain under wraps, Akanksha has reportedly gone the extra mile to learn Gujarati for the role. As part of her preparation, the actress spent time working on her pronunciation and expressions, focusing on the finer nuances of the language to ensure her appearance blends naturally into the film's setting.
Meanwhile, Akanksha Puri recently appeared in Randeep Hooda starrer "Inspector Avinash 2." She played Punjaban, a dancer turned informer in the movie. Speaking about the project, the 'Bigg Boss OTT' fame said she was looking to take on something fearless and different, and the role gave her an opportunity to step outside her comfort zone. "I wanted to do something fearless and different. This role allowed me to step away from my comfort zone and explore a much stronger and emotionally intense side of myself as an actor," she said.
