Ajay Devgn offers nostalgic lookback at his iconic films, calls it "wild journey"

Mumbai, May 21

Actor Ajay Devgn took a nostalgic ride down memory lane, taking fans through a striking visual journey of his many on-screen avatars over the years.

The clip, which appears to be AI-edited, seamlessly transitions between some of the actor's most memorable characters from films like 'Phool Aur Kaante, Once Upon A Time in Mumbai, Golmaal, Singham, Bhuj: The Pride of India, Drishyam and Shaitaan', among others.

The video opens with one of Devgn's earlier intense looks before rapidly morphing into several fan-favourite personas, including action-packed, dramatic, and rugged roles that have defined his career.

"Smooth transitions. Wild journey," the actor wrote in his caption.

Fans quickly took to the comment section and lauded Devgn's journey.

On the work front, Ajay Devgn will be next seen in 'Dhamaal 4', co-starring Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, Jaaved Jaaferi, Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar, and Ravi Kishan.

Directed by Indra Kumar, the film is produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit, and Kumar Mangat Pathak.

He also has 'Golmaal 5' in his kitty. Akshay Kumar is also a part of the new part.

Helmed by Rohit Shetty, the Golmaal franchise has been making film buffs laugh for almost two decades now. The first instalment, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, which hit theatres in 2006, became a huge hit. It starred Ajay Devgn, Sharman Joshi, Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor. Paresh Rawal and Rimi Sen were also part of the first film.

Over the years, the Golmaal series went on to become one of India's most loved comedy franchises.

I grew up watching Ajay Devgn—'Phool Aur Kaante' with that iconic balancing on two bikes is still legendary. But honestly, I hope 'Golmaal 5' doesn't become stale. Rohit Shetty needs fresh jokes, not recycled gags. Still, respect for his journey—35 years and still going strong! 🙌

That 'Once Upon A Time in Mumbai' look—sher! Ajay Devgn as Sultan Mirza was something else. And now Dhamaal 4? Bro, the comedy lineup is insane: Arshad, Riteish, Sanjay Mishra... pure nostalgia. Just hope they don't overdo the slapstick, we need some heart too.

The man who made 'Singham' a national symbol of justice! 🦁 That roar still gives me chills. But I'm low-key worried about 'Golmaal 5'—Akshay Kumar joining might change the vibe. Let's hope it's as organic as the first one. Still, Ajay sir, you're a legend. End of discussion.

As someone who doesn't watch many Bollywood films, this AI reel is impressive. Ajay Devgn looks like he has incredible range—from 'Drishyam's quiet intensity to 'Singham's larger-than-life energy. Might check out 'Dhamaal 4' for the laughs! Global cinema owes a lot to Indian versatility.
