Dr VK Paul did exemplary work during COVID and healthcare policy reforms. Hope the transition is smooth. Also, Dr Ashok Lahiri's experience with World Bank and IMF will be invaluable for economic planning. But why are these appointments always so last-minute? 😐

Impressive credentials all around. Dr Gobardhan Das's work in immunology could really boost India's pandemic preparedness and biomedical research. But I wonder how these appointments will trickle down to improve governance at the grassroots level. Time will tell.

AIIMS Delhi getting an acting director for months sounds like a recurring issue. The government needs to expedite the permanent appointment to avoid administrative vacuum. That said, Dr Nikhil Tandon is a respected name in endocrinology - ab dekhte hain kya hota hai.

Honestly, this is good news. NITI Aayog needs more domain experts than just bureaucrats. Dr Srinivas from AIIMS, Dr Lahiri an economist, and Dr Das a scientist - this looks like a balanced team. Bas implementation bhi achi ho toh India ka development aur tez ho sakta hai. 😊

A constructive step - bringing in a hospital administrator to a policy think tank could bridge healthcare delivery gaps. But we need to see if this is just another bureaucratic shuffle or actual reform. The proof will be in how many of these experts' recommendations actually get implemented. 🤔
