Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday praised the 14th edition of the Ahmedabad Flower Show, asserting that the Show reflected its "blend of creativity", "sustainability", and "community participation".

In a post on X, PM Modi said the event beautifully reflects the city's vibrant spirit and love for nature. He also commended the organisers for expanding the show's scale and imagination over the years.

"The Ahmedabad Flower Show brings together creativity, sustainability and community participation, while beautifully showcasing the city's vibrant spirit and love for nature. It is also commendable how this flower show has grown in scale and imagination over the years," the post read.

Meanwhile on Thursday, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expressed immense pride in the creation of the world's largest flower mandala and the world's largest flower portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, marking a hat-trick of world records for the Flower Show over three consecutive years.

Sharing a post on X, CM Patel wrote, The fragrance of Gujarat, across the entire world...The creation of two Guinness World Records at the 14th Flower Show organised by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation this year is a matter of immense joy and pride for all of us. The world's largest flower mandala and the world's largest flower portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel ji--with these achievements, the Ahmedabad Flower Show has registered a hat-trick of world records for the third consecutive year."

CM Patel recalled that in 2024, the show created the world's longest flower structure and in 2025 showcased the world's largest flower bouquet.

"In the year 2024, by creating the world's longest flower structure, and in the year 2025, by creating the world's largest flower bouquet, the Ahmedabad Flower Show has inscribed its name in the Guinness Book of World Records," the post read.

The Chief Minister further emphasised that the Flower Show, organised under the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is giving Ahmedabad, a World Heritage City, a distinct identity on the global stage.

"In the year 2026, with two new world records, this event has become an unparalleled example of creativity and exceptional organizational capability. This Flower Show, organized under the inspiration of the Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, is giving a distinct identity to the World Heritage City of Ahmedabad on the global stage," the post further read.

The Chief Minister further added that the Flower Show was not merely a display of flowers, but a grand celebration of India's cultural heritage, national unity, and the creative power of modern India.
