As someone working in renewable energy, I'm particularly interested in the joint research initiatives. If this collaboration focuses on sustainable tech and green energy, it could be a game-changer for India's climate goals.

While partnerships are good, I hope the focus remains on quality academic research and not just corporate interests. The "industry-linked learning" part makes me slightly wary. The autonomy of IITs must be preserved.

Excellent news! More such tie-ups between new private universities and established IITs are needed. The student exchange and summer schools will be a great opportunity for hands-on learning. Hope they include scholarships for deserving candidates from smaller towns.

The key will be execution. We've seen many MoUs signed with great fanfare that don't lead to much on the ground. Fingers crossed this one delivers tangible outcomes like joint patents and innovative projects. 🤞

Interdisciplinary research is the future. If this collaboration bridges the gap between engineering, business, and policy studies, it could produce leaders who can tackle India's complex infrastructure and development challenges.
