Aayush Sharma lauds PM Modi's work on Kashi Vishwanath development project
Mumbai, June 28
Bollywood actor Aayush Sharma, who is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film 'Kashi', has lauded PM Modi's efforts on the Kashi Vishwanath development project.
He lauded the development and cleanliness of Kashi under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ayush said, "I hear from the local people here how much development has been done and how much cleanliness has been done. And I think a lot of work has been done in the Kashi Vishwanath Temple after PM Modi came to power".
He further mentioned, "So I think it's great. I think Banaras is such a place that is very important for our Hindu religion. And maintaining it, cleaning it and making it accessible to more people because so many tourists come from all over the world to experience it. So I think the more development I see, the more organized things are happening. I think it's a beautiful thing and I pray that Kashi develops better and welcomes more people. And more things come here so that people can comfortably experience Kashi".
The actor also said that the film is based on the unique story of five characters from Varanasi. The film has action, comedy, romance, thriller and family entertainment. The actor claimed that the climax of the film will be very unique, which has been seen less before. This time Ayush also took his mother to Kashi for the first time. He shared that his mother visited the divine and majestic nature of the Ganga Ghats for the first time, and he himself became a tour guide for his mother and is giving her darshan of Kaal Bhairav and Kashi Vishwanath Ayush.
The actor said that he is a devotee of Mahadev, and said that whenever he comes to Kashi, he definitely visits Baba Vishwanath. He said that the spiritual energy and positive vibrations of Banaras draw him here again and again. He thanked the people of Kashi for their love and enthusiasm during the shoot.
The actor expressed confidence that the film "Kashi" will give the audience a new experience filled with the culture and adventure of Banaras

Good that an actor is using his platform to highlight positive development. But let's not forget that Kashi's heritage is thousands of years old - the temples were grand even before any government took credit. The real challenge is maintaining this momentum without commercializing the spiritual essence. Hope the film also shows the real soul of Banaras, not just the tourist-friendly version.
As someone from Varanasi, I can vouch for the transformation! The Kashi Vishwanath corridor project has made darshan so much easier for devotees. Earlier we used to queue for hours in narrow lanes, now it's a smooth experience. Kudos to PM Modi for prioritizing this. And Aayush Sharma shooting here will definitely boost tourism. Win-win for everyone! 🙌
Interesting to see Bollywood actors becoming ambassadors for cultural heritage. But I wonder if this is genuine appreciation or just promotion for the film "Kashi"? Either way, if it brings attention to the beauty of Banaras, I'm all for it. The city has a unique energy that words can't describe - something even Modi's development can't replace.
Bhai, Kashi always needed this kind of attention! I remember going as a kid and the place was so dirty you couldn't even walk properly near the ghats. Now it's a different story altogether. PM Modi's personal connection to Kashi shows in the work done. And Aayush Sharma taking his mother there for the first time - that's pure emotion! Hope the film does justice to Banaras' culture. 🚩
