Chandigarh, Jan 20
Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Wednesday gave directions to start construction of northern India's largest integrated multimodal logistics hub, to be constructed in the state's Mahendragarh district.
With the opening of the logistics hub in Nangal Chaudhary village, for the first time, multinational companies will come in southern Haryana, he said.
This hub will bring employment and prove to be a milestone for the all-round development of the region, he added.
The logistics hub will also get the benefit of Delhi-Mumbai Dedicated Rail Freight Corridor. The corridor will play an important role in bringing raw materials and taking finished goods to companies.
Goods to be brought or carried via containers between Delhi and Mumbai can be loaded or unloaded there, he said.
