Security has evolved over the past few decades in a way that no one could have predicted. The challenges used to focus on making sure the perimeter of an organization was safe. Almost all of the interaction with a company's data was internal and when external it was very limited and addressed through virtual private networks and encryption. IT transformation and advances in cloud technology has turned that architecture on its head. Utilizing the cloud to make your company more proficient and to also increase the experience of your partners and customers become the de-facto standard. The benefits of these advancements in technology are extremely impactful and beneficial to companies of all sizes. It also expands the complexity of addressing their security concerns. More and more external experts are needed to stay on top of the ever changing and expanding environments, cyber talent is incredibly hard to come by and to retain, said Mr. Kasper.
