Coalfire, a provider of cybersecurity advisory and assessment services, announced today that two of its healthcare security specialists, Zach Shales and Arthur Staff, were appointed to the Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST) CSF Assessor Council.
We're honored to be selected, and excited about the opportunity to contribute to building the standards of excellence that HITRUST brings to our profession, our clients, and to public and private organizations across all industries, said Staff, principal with Coalfire's Healthcare Assurance Services.
As one of the original HITRUST CSF Assessor firms, Coalfire's Staff and Shales will continue the company's legacy as a trusted resource, advising on uniformity and discipline issues around assessment execution, and helping clients optimize their HITRUST assurance and certification programs.
Providing value around assessment quality and consistency, gleaned from almost 10 years of helping clients with their HITRUST programs, can help with the continued adoption of the framework, said Shales, director, Healthcare Certification with Coalfire. We look forward to collaborating with other assessor firms, while being a voice for our customers and the industry. He further explained how the Assessor Council is organized, its mission, and how quality remains Job One in an article he wrote about the HITRUST CSF Assurance Program.
